I will start off with our major news at the moment. WE HAVE MOVED TO NJ... Yes... YOU HEARD IT HERE... We sold our house in Springfield and are currently living with my parents. We have decided to build a house in Mickleton. Our house won't be ready until November 6th, so we had to move in with my parents until its done. We sold our house much quicker than we thought, so we put all our things in storage and moved right in. Ally started out 1st grade in her new school, which is the same school she will attend when our house is ready... so it seemed to work out great. Living courters are cozy however, we pretty much have our schedules down, so its going faster than we thought.
Ally finished Kindergarden with a bang. She did great and loved her teachers. We still can't believe she is reading... its crazy how early these kids read these days. She ended up finishing the year with dance. She made a lot of great friends but wasn't that fond of ballet or tap. But she stuck it out and loved being on stage at the recital (See clip below). She also swam all year. She is our fish. By the summer, she was swimming on her own, swimming down to the bottom of the pool and floating on her back... Who knows... she may take after me... I guess it will be pay back for all those practices my parents had to take me to before school. These days, Ally is still swimming. One of my old swimming buddies Lindsay is teaching her. Ally is also trying something new this year... gymnastics and cheerleading... god help us... I tried talking her into soccer but... to quote the drama queen herself "i can't play soccer, it is too hard because you have to run and you sweat... that's gross!". I can't even make this stuff up if I tried!!!!
Then, who can forget Jack Jack! No one, because he will not let you... We were so worried because he didn't talk for the longest time. I think he only started talking when he finally turned two. At least we thought that was late because Ally came out of my woom talking! But now, forget about it... He gives Ally a run for her money... Jack is still with my sitter Lisa. He loves her... We are currently still working on potty training... He has the whole peeing thing down pat but poop... forget about it! He could care less... We have tried bribing with his favorite toys and candy, telling him all the cool stuff he can do if he was potty trained like play sports, go to pre-school, etc... He doesn't want any of it... I guess he figures why should I do that when you will just wipe my butt for me? I guess he's right... but... the kid is desperate for friends... its a sin. All he does is pretty much follow Ally around, who of course, coaxes him to do things that she knows will get him in trouble ...and yes... he does it... and yes... half his waking days are in the corner...
Right now its a little crazy for me. I am trying desperately to get back in shape... its a little easier living with my parents... but i am feeling things crack and ache that never used to... It's a little scary. I am also currently trying to study for the CPA exam. I haven't been so successful at it lately with all that is going on, in and out of work (this is my second "busy" season right now) but my goal is that next year at this time i will be completely certified.
Other than the obvious (taking the big leap to Jersey), Jim is doing great. He seems to be doing well with his job at CBIZ. He at this point, is secretly trying to figure out how to move to Jersey without having a drivers license tag on the front and back of his car. I think that is definitely going to drive him crazy...

Above I discussed Ally's decision to not take tap or ballet this year... but she sure loved the costume and the glammer of the recital... especially that I let her wear makeup... I also added a small clip of the recital for all my family and friends to see who couldn't make it... (See below)
Here is a pic of my man at the beach... What a stud! The four of us went to the Outer Banks this year. We usually go with my mother and father in-law, sister and brother in-law and my two niece's. This was the first year we went on a vacation alone. Let's just say... We (Jim and I)needed a vacation from our vacation...
Well, I CAVED!!! Ally had her first sleep over at our house in Springfield before we moved... and yes ladies and gentlemen... I think it was a success. The girls had a great time. We did crafts, played outside, we did everyone' make-up, tattoos... and ate lots and lots and lots of junk food. We ended the night watching the Hannah Montana Concert! These girls were exhausted (including me and my sister in law Lisa who helped me). Here is proof that they actually did fall asleep!
