Well, the big day finally was here today. Ally has been dying to go to
Kindergarten since she started
pre-school. If you ask her the best part about
Kindergarten, I think she would
definitely say that she doesn't have to nap anymore. Today wasn't exactly a full day of school though. It was just orientation to meet her teacher and some of her classmates (only half of her class was there today... the other half go tomorrow). They have the parents come and we all participated in some activities with the kids which consisted of some things like drawing a self portrait and pasting on a star, getting their picture taken, getting their bodies outlined on huge paper which will later be used for science class (to learn about body parts, etc...), a tour of their room and school and typing on the computers. Also, the most important part of the day were the "Rules" such as going over all the bathroom rules, playground rules, etc... Her teacher seems really great and the other parents who have older children just rave about her... That made me feel really good. We of course took some pics... So ENJOY!
Here is Ally right before we left to drop Jack off at Aunt Anita's House. We always take pics with signs so we know exactly what day it was when the first day of school began... We did this for her first day of
pre-school also.

Here is our main man... He was bummed to not go to school but he had a great day hanging out with his gal pal Emma. Maybe next year, we will be posting his picture for his first day of pre-school... but the rate we are going... he won't be potty trained until Kindergarten... YIKES!!!
